I don't think they would, at least content wise. But the Chinese stations seem far more willing to move shows around than I'm used to.

Other shows, however, been pulled for scandals for the stars, or something the censors decide is problematic. The major one this year was Story of Kunning Palace. It was announced for May 5? with posters, but at the last minute, it got pulled for some reason and we are still waiting. Or like that Neo show, I Am Nobody. It was 8 episodes in, and got pulled, allegedly for some certification issue, and then got put back on.

Ahh ok, I thought there was something specific about LMLMV. Yeah, Story of Kunning Palace seems to be stuck in limbo. Oof, you scared me lol

Not that I've heard or seen.  It isn't dealing with historical or fantasy subjects that the censors seem to target.

Yeah, I keep hoping they will get off of Story of Kunning Palace, as it looks like an interesting show.

They did it for ‘Justice in the dark’ after 8 eps and they’re still no chance we get to see the rest 😭😭 I prefer don’t air until they’re pretty sure no cancellation on airing period its hurts more 🤕

I'm glad we were able to watch My Journey to You. That was filled with scandals, but it would be such a loss to not have it aired

Really?  Ah, looked it up.  Yeah.  The White Paper movement.  That could be a problem, especially given he's like a 3rd Male Lead?  Someone on the drama comments was saying something about a ban on rebirth? shows?  What the heck?  Are they really banning or even discouraging this too?  I heard there was a time travel ban too.  Of course, then we have shows like Love You Seven Times, which features both, so who knows?

There is a ban on rebirth dramas supposedly because there have been so many suicide s linked to that. Apparently some people there have the smart thinking that committed suicide will made them to reincarnate or rebirth. I have watched many mini dramas with that type of plot but I think that Sasha was the one that told me long time ago that is because it’s a mini drama so the censorship isn’t that rigorous for them 🤦🏼‍♀️

Good heavens.  Those people need help, not restricting TV shows.  If their lives suck so much or they are actually that easily influenced by media, they have other problems. I don't think these are bans, like the danmei ban, but perhaps strongly discouraging them.  Cause there's plenty of shows airing that are still using it.  Or maybe the censors moved on from it.

Now if they can only get past the BL ban.  I need to see Winner is King.

I finished one drama with time travel in the last month. I forgot the name and I dropped the one with Zhao Yi Qin, a different Mr. Xiao because I couldn’t stand the fl at all. She was sooooooo annoying 

I know they are out there.  Like I said, Love You 7 Times, which aired the same time as LYF, has both.
