I can't imagine wtf they were thinking while writing the script. I hate XY now. IJust stop torturing XL. No, it's not one person, it's BOTH people.  The Lovers Bug turns into the Heartbreak Bug.  That's why XL recites the poem when he kills the Poison Love Bug.

 'The sycamore trees on the ground will grow old intertwined, the jian birds in the sky will not fly alone, the mandarin ducks in the water will die together.' 

I yell alot at XY and at this point, I don't care if she ends with XL, but she's definitely part of his story.  I still love seeing them together.

Yeah, I'm whatever about XY. Though her carelessness with Xiang Liu's life makes me loathe her.

I just wish that Jing dude could be obliterated from the face of the Earth. Just keep XY single. That's very empowering. Go travel the world alone. Find some Italian or French dude to have an affair with.
