I've read the second one. It's a bit odd reading stories about these characters in English, to be honest. And I don't think the author managed to capture the character really well so it doesn't read like XL. Look at me critiquing fanfiction: "He's not XL enough to tempt me!" :-)

Such a late reply but I just read the second one. I agree with what you said. Honestly, everyone was out of character and XL didn't seem like himself at all.

I was in disbelief reading XY easily getting past those guards at the beginning. They let her through just like that? And her grandfather let her marry XL if he disguised himself as FFB and Cang Xuan didn't stop it?

Gosh, I'm so harsh critiquing fanfic lol (it's just my opinion ^^"). But it's nice to see more English fanfic writers for LYF :)

No, it's not one person, it's BOTH people.  The Lovers Bug turns into the Heartbreak Bug.  That's why XL recites the poem when he kills the Poison Love Bug.

I yell alot at XY and at this point, I don't care if she ends with XL, but she's definitely part of his story.  I still love seeing them together.

Well in that if XY really loved Jing she and XL would have been dead but as far as we know it has not happened. So what if XY was just faking it
