I've watched this drama a few times and I'm not sure why Lize gong doesn't accept female disciples. I get all of the sect's members are red gold birds. So does that mean females can't be red gold birds? Like in the case of Ruo Yu's sister and Yu ' er they're both related to the clan and are not human and I'm not to sure about Ruo Yu's sister but Yu'er's dad is a red gold bird yet he has to act as if she doesn't exist . It just doesn't make sense to me that it was a male only school. What happens to the female counterparts of the red gold birds. If any one has ready the novel, is there a reason for this?
