I know I’m years late to this drama, but hopefully some people are still around to answer questions!

My first question is: How was Xuanji able to remove the Loveless Mask without lifting the curse? I don’t think that was ever explained.

Second question, which perhaps has been deliberately left vague: Was Hao Chen actually in love with Xuanji/Luohou Jidu? And why did that love moon rock thing single them out as lovers?

Im also very late but i assume because Xuanji did love him but she didn't have her 6 senses back yet so thats why she could lift the mask but not the curse itself and as for the second question but i think Hao Chen was obsessed with her but if it was true love idk he most likely liked the thought of controlling her and the reason the stone thing lit up was because i saw him doing some magic spells so he maybe triggered the rock to light up since he has the power to do it he is King Bailing
