ML pretends to protect FL from the danger he himself has caused

Hello. I have a strange request. Would you be able to recommend me dramas where ML pretends to protect FL from the danger he himself has caused?

For example in The Starry Love (2023) Third Prince pretends that he wants to help Li Guang Qing Kui  while he is the one responsible for carriage swaping. 

Hmm, not quite what you're looking for but along those lines, in Well-Intended Love the ML lies to the FL that she is ill and he can cure her by donating his bone marrow in exchange for her marrying him. In reality, she's not sick at all.

So, like, the ML orchestrates a plan so that he can come in and save the FL in order to get her appreciation or manipulate her? Or as in he's pretending to save her, but in actuality wants her to fall victim to it (like a double-cross)?

I feel like Devil Beside You may have had such a scene? But it's been so long, i might be wrong.

If the second:

There might be some scenes in Korean Odyssey that fit?

Love in Time kinda fit the picture. ML manipulate FL to go to marriage market & start to plan everything for them to become together
