Dramatic Romance Drama - ML Falls Hard & Is Willing to Make Major Sacrifices

Please recommend dramatic romance dramas where the ML falls hard for the FL (or other ML, if it's a BL), and is willing to make big sacrifices for her. Ideally, the kind of drama where he's willing to kill to protect her if he has to, and where he's also willing to put his life on the line (and even die for her) to protect her.

Preferably also dramas where the ML isn't a jerk to the FL for most of the drama. Being a jerk at the beginning isn't a deal breaker if he gets compelling character development.

I vividly remember a scene where the ML risked his identity/security/life to protect the FL, he was ready to kill the people suspicious of the FL if she made a mistake.

It's a short cdrama and still airing, but the ML has already proven that he will kill for the FL if it meant protecting the FL and offending related people.

Hmmmm okay I'm definitely watching this thread for other people's recs but let me see if I can think of any more...

• Wonderland of Love: ML makes a major concession for the FL's sake later in the show iirc
• Everlasting Longing: the ML is pretty whipped
• Word of Honor: this ML pretty much neglects everything in his life for the sake of the main character BUT it's a censored BL so no kisses though I was surprised at how much physical and verbal affection they do show for each other
• Dong Lan Xue: ML will not just kill for the FL, he would also stab himself just so that she will stay and take care of him
• The Legends: a classic so perhaps you've already seen it. But the ML takes on a lot of pain and alienates most of his sect out of loyalty to the FL
• +1 My Lady General: the ML really would kill for her and really wants to even when she tells him not to lmao
• +1 Tale of the Nine-Tailed: ML would die for FL over and over
• Love with Flaws: I have mixed feelings about this one but it does fit what you asked for, ML overhauls his life for the sake of the FL
• Lovely Runner: another one you've likely already seen but definitely fits. The ML is devoted beyond all logic and reason
• Miss Mystery: devoted anti-hero ML, super supportive of the FL's morally questionable schemes
• Extremely Perilous Love: I don't remember how devoted the ML was but I'm pretty sure he does kill for the FL
