Like, imagine yourself traveling back in time before something as "basic" as steel was produced and with what you know about steel and trying to create it, how many years do you think it would take before you succeeded?
Like for me, it would probably take half a lifetime, lol. Simply because I have zero practical experience with forging and the little I know is basically it involves iron and carbon on the top of my head without a google search.
Basically, what I want is a transmigration plot which shows a modern traveler really struggling. I've seen plenty of amateur youtubers trying to recreate "basic" things yet only made it maybe 50% of the way despite working on the video for years and having full access to google and other resources.
Yet, in all transmigrator series I've watched as soon as a modern person travels back in time every problem is solved in days or weeks.
