The Outsiders is pretty centered around the world of gangsters and the romance between two people from completely opposite worlds

The Outsiders II is set during a time in The Outsiders where characters show development and expands on that while also introducing a new person/lead and their story, but this sequel is still centered on the original leads from the prequel
