Soju is wrong, Sealed with a Kiss does have a happy ending. It's not perfect, wrapped up in a bow type happy ending, but it is a happy ending. A happy ending at the end of a romance drama is a must for me. Often times I even go as far to check the endings of shows before I watch them. I checked the ending of Sealed before watching it and while the end is not sugary sweet, it's acceptable. Go ahead and watch it. It's fully subbed on viki.com.

Thanks for the new recommendations! I've seen Le Jun Kai and liked it despite the bad ending. I definitely love happy endings, but I can live with implied open-ended endings too. Tragedies like Koo Gum on the other hand... I'm still traumatized by that one XD

Koo Gum was so sad! I've seen so many dramas I couldn't think of one that fits lol. The closest two are Kwarm Lub Kaung Superstar and Mafia Luerd Mungkorn: Suer.


The first one is kinda meh, but the second one was really good, in my opinion. Also, I SWAK definitely fits and is available on sites. I hope you find some good shows! *__*

Pin Anong (Thai Lakorn)- not really truly villainous but more on the roguish side.  In one scene, he scared the female lead as he stalked her at first and he could be somewhat forceful (sneaks to her bedroom often), came on strong, can't seem to keep his hands off her most times (has slap kiss scenes), and was possessive of her.

Lover or Stranger (Cdrama)- SPOILER ALERT! ML is a villain for sure.  A surgeon copied the face of his presumed dead fiancée on  the amnesiac FL by accident, but ML took advantage of the mistake  to cover the accident caused by him which led him to believe his fiancée died, then practically holding the FL captive, stalking her if she as much as tried to go out, becoming more possessive of her as he developed feelings for her, lying to her even though he  knew her true identity, isolating her from people that she was virtually his prisoner.  Even when the ”dead”  fiancée came back he was already in love with the FL  so he ended up  protecting the  FL and had to  turn himself in  to right his wrongdoings.
