Bodyguard story

Can anyone recommend me a k-drama/j-drama that has the ML/ FL  falling for their bodyguard? I’ve watched the K2 which I hated and Strong woman Do bong soon which I loved. Any others?

A Love to Kill - This was one of my very first Korean dramas, and I loved it... until the ending (take note of the "Tragedy" label).  Back when I watched it I didn't know it was a Tragedy, and it's one of the main reasons why I try to avoid them now.  But if you enjoy gut-wrenching, heart-wrenching, horrendously sad endings with ugly crying (rivers of tears and snot), then I'd recommend this one.

  • Spy Myungwol - FL was the bodyguard who is actually a spy
  • My princess - ML was not an official bodyguard more of the guy who needs to keep the princess guarded for his family reputation sake
  • Come and Hug Me - ML is a cop but one of his missions was to guard the FL who is targeted by his family 
  • Snow Queen - ML was actually hired as chauffer/driver but he does some protecting and guarding work because he is a former boxer
  • Man to Man - ML takes up bodyguard role to superstar k-actor but he is actually a spy. The romance was a little stale with the FL who is younger sister/manager to the superstar
  • The crown princess - thai drama with ML is special ops securoty service, and FL is crown princess. Must watch if you are looking for bodyguard story.

if you don't mind a Chinese drama on the dark side, check out Bloody romance, the assassins which are women all have bodyguards called Shadows who protect them, the ML and FL fall in love which is forbidden. https://kisskh.at/27510-bloody-romance
