The King 2hearts +1

Young Blood FL its the insane intelligent brain in the group.

 kdramaddict1:

sounds like its worth watching! I will have to give it a try. I love a strong female lead . I just finished watching five enough which is awesome. It's 54 episodes but so good.

Ooh I may check out Five Enough.

I'm the same way.  Love a strong female lead, and am finding that there are more and more shows that circumvent the female doormat trope for much more three dimensional, competent characters.

The FL in World of Married is a highly successful doctor who supports her family as well.  I don't think I've ever seen a Korean FL so successful in her career (unless her career is being a secretary or assistant).  Possible exception in Misaeng, but FL in  asubservient position because she, like ML, is an intern- but she's so darn skilled.

I think you will like Five Enough. You will dislike some people but then come to appreciate and or like them. I will definitely give World of Married a try. I am currently watching The Good Wife. Which is really good despite what people were saying in the comments.  Strong Female lead that is not a dormat. I did cheat and read a recap about the ending and I don't get why some people disliked the ending.  Let me know if you like Five Enough. Beautiful World, Wonderful life is good too. The female lead to me was strong and not a dormat but she went through some stuff..It was an emotional roller coaster for sure!

@kdramaaddict1:  Definitely!  Let me know if you like World of Married.  I think I've got too short of an attention span for a 100 episode drama (re Beautiful World, Wonderful Life), but I'll check out ep. 1 too and see if it pulls me in.  I already get kind of sad when dramas end though, saying goodbye to all the characters and what not- probably would be even harder if I've spent 100 hours dedicated to the characters.

I made my own list and out of all those ladies Bai from Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms aka Eternal Love is hands down my fav strong female lead.

+1 The Princess Wei Young

I stopped watching Princess Wei Young because I read the recap and didn't like what the lead did. lol. I will eventually finish it (maybe) lol

Vagabond (it's light romance tho)

Hotel Del Luna

The world of the married (no romance)

My country: the new age (kinda romance, like it's not the main thing in this drama)

lmao sorry they're all light romance beside Hotel Del Luna

I haven't checked your list but I will write my recs since other people can find it helpful as well.

Agree with The World of the Married  recs, she was a real badass even though she didn't know this side of her before.

I would say Age of Youth , Be Melodramatic , Avengers Social Club , My Mister. These are slice of life dramas but the women in it live their own lifes with their own decisions and I liked that. They were not dramatically intelligent but strong and their own persons.

Then I can say Angel's Last Mission: Love. I mean, for the beginning she was rescued yes but it was in a fantastic way and it was a start. In general, she might be one of the most strongest women in a romance kdrama I've ever seen, she had good sides and bad sides but not the romantic interest of the male lead but her own character.

I might say Falling for Innocence , she was indeed a secretary but she never changed her character or her values a bit, she was the most reliable character from beginning to end. I was impressed and respected her a lot. Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi  resembles this in a way.

Signal and Stranger has really compenent and badass FLs as well, almost no romance tho.  Amazing dramas.

The Good Wife is excellent - strong FL, intelligent writing, smart characters, 9/10 for me. Romance is complicated but honest & mature. Definitely not a light watch. Two moments in that drama rank in my all-time most memorable Kdrama scenes.

(I didn't see the American version of the series FYI - don't know if that makes a difference or not)
