Drama like Chugakusei Nikki

One of my all time favorite dramas is Chugakusei Nikki. Can someone recommend me a drama with a similar feel? I don’t mean stories with an age gap or forbidden romance. Just something where the love story is the focus and what they have is something pure, innocent, and selfless. It can be in any language but ideally Japanese or Korean and released in the last 10 years or so. Thanks!

  • Come and Hug Me - more angsty and such pure type of love. But has crime background taboo plot. 
  • Autumn in My Heart - same angst with 'Taboo' like feel and same type of love just different plot
  • Loveholic - Almost same feel and same angst and same plot, but sadly disappointing narrative and acting
  • My Teacher (Jmovie) - definitely check this out

Also  maybe check out:

  • Same feel and type of love (pure/selfless) though less angsty than CN: Kingyo Club, encounter
  • More light hearted feel: at eighteen, glorious day
  • More Comedic feel: Reply 1988, Queen Inhyun's Man
