What is the drama with the most episodes you've watched? What made you sit through so many episodes?

The drama with the most episodes I've watched was Nirvana in Fire. Honestly, for me the drama was amazing. I loved everything about it--storyline, acting, ost/score, etc. I don't really watch historical dramas much but Nirvana in Fire was the first historical drama I've watched and I'm glad I did. I even became a fan of the main lead actors.

Love Cheque Charge 74 eps I think its worth watching

Both of them with 70 episodes, historicals, great acting and script

The Empress Of China

96 epsidoes

took me ages to finish it but i liked the drama ^^

I finished The Story of Ming Lan & it has 78 I think. A ton of my historicals are 50-80 episodes.

I started Temptation of Wife and got to 73 of 129? episodes before dropping it. Long "contemporary" dramas are usually not my cup of tea.

A long historical? YES PLEASE. lol

Same; It was a beautiful drama but I'll never watch a drama that long ever again.

Who am I kidding... if it's good then I'll watch it no matter how long.

East of Eden - 56 episodes, it was the first makjang drama I watched!

or Shady Mom in Law - 123 episodes (30 minutes each) daily drama. It's low rated (like other makjang dailies) but it was still kinda addicting

Happy Sisters with 120 episodes. I loved this daily drama so much. Anyone that watches daily dramas know how crazy SFL's get  towards FL's, but this one was different. The majority of the drama was about the SFL making the FL's ex-husband's life and that of his family a living hell. It was the most fun I've ever had watching a Monday-Friday drama. Of course you had the occasional attack on the FL but it wasn't as bad as what I was used to.

Ugly Alert, with 133 episodes, and I don't regret a bit using my mobile data to watch all those episodes cause despite being a daily drama, I got addicted to it way more than the normal 16-20 episode drama, it has so many things which those short dramas don't have, for me, it was one of the most clever srcipts in terms of character introduction I have seen till now.

Not to mention, actors really did their job well and it looked like writer has the confidence in her script because she knew how to play with the amazing characters she developed throughout the drama.

Starting episodes are slow and introductory, you may think the plot is something else in the synopsis but why they haven't even started to show even a bit of the plot till now but I can only say, be patient, all those things that are shown are for the development of characters and if you skip those few episodes thinking they are just introduction, you might miss the whole lessons of this drama.

My favorite couple, I didn't expect them to be couple tbh, are Gong Hyeon Seok and Su Ju Yeong. I really really loved them so much, they get introduced sometimes later in the show but I think they won over my heart even more than the main couple, because of how different their matching was. No one could have guessed in the starting that they'd end up with each other lol.

Totally fell in love with Choi Tae Joon here, he was so handsome playing as introvert Hyen Seok, he really made me skip episodes to wait for his interaction with Ju Yeong damn.
