Although not a romance (at least I haven't seen any yet), the FL in The Confidence Man JP is always pulling the wool over her sidekick's (?) eyes. This is a comedy.

Mr. Queen. ML King Cheoljong is a (hidden) badass in his own right and more than meets the eye, but boy is he whipped by/for FL Queen Kim So Yong. She definitely runs the show, in more ways than one. Their (gradual enemies to lovers) dynamic is so great, I love it, and it definitely fits in the strong female lead/soft ML category.
