Damaged ML who can only love FL

Apparently this trope is one of my favorites but it's a bit tough to find. 

Perfect examples are Ling Xiao from Go Ahead and Jiang Chen from A Love So Beautiful. I don't care what other subgenres of romance it includes such as fantasy, slice of life, or suspense. Shows can be from any county, English subtitles available preferred though I can also read Spanish.

I strongly recommend Go Ahead. It will tear your heart out. I cried so much watching it that I got a clogged tear duct. But it's soooo good. And it ends beautifully.

Mask (Korea 2015) - The ML is a real mess, has terrible hallucinations. This is an arranged marriage between wealthy families. He tells the FL as they are about to marry that he will kill her. Oddly, he is still her best option.
