Is it really only watchable from iQiYi, i dont have a sub and i dont know if i should get one only for this drama. But i want more of Tan Jian Ci.....i have watched Under the Skin, Lost you forever, Filter and Love me Love my voice....i Just want to watch Go East so bad.......

Sadly, for international audiences, it is only available streaming on iQiyi and on some regional streamers like maybe Viu?  One that started with an M, I'll see if I can find the name.  I know it was showing on one of the Japanese channels, but I don't know if they put the shows on demand, after it airs.  I saw on eBay that there are DVDs available, but I don't know if they are official / quality.  You can watch the first 5 episodes free on the app or on YouTube, if you want to give it a try and see if you like it.

Several shows with Tan Jian Ci as supporting cast are on Viki and some maybe on Youtube.  He's a ML in Are You Safe?  which is on YouTube also .

Thank you so much,  I watched the first 5 episodes and i think it's healing me inside with all those jokes so far, i really enjoy it, maybe i will get a sub for iqiyi  for a month and watch as much cdramas as i can, also i will watch "Are you safe" very soon. Yes!  Go East is very funny.  I wish Episode 6 was free, as it is the Magical Chicken episode.   I do the same thing.  When something I'm really interested in airs on iQiyi, I get a month sub, and then I watch all their exclusive stuff I've stockpiled and rewatch Go East and Under the Skin other favorites. :)

Ah, that other regional service I mentioned was Moa.  Also it appears it aired on AsiaUHD.  Both are Korean.

I found where people can watch "Go East" for free https://hurawatchz.tv/watch-tv/watch-go-east-movies-free-hd-on-hurawatch-113164.10648270  I really don't know for which countries it will work but i am from small european country and it works. Its completely free with subtitles , it has a lot of adds but it works.

No.  It isn't on Viki.  Most of the iQiyi productions are not on Viki or Netflix.  They seem to have a deal with Amazon, as some show up there.

I have Amazon Prime, but I rarely use it for the entertainment aspect. Is it like Netflix, where what is available is region-dependent?

Yes.  It's under the Prime Video department.  There's a bunch of Asian dramas there.  I just checked and they actually even have a taiga drama!  I can't find those anywhere.  The search engine isn't the best, though.
