include "OTHER" as an option for other countries apart from MDL's 7 countries .

You go to any site, they always keep the option of "other" so that nothing is left out of that site just because a certain keyword from it is not available. As far as mentioning countries is concerned, you can do that through theme/tags as well.

If the future is thought of, then this option will be very useful.

If we assume that even if all these countries are added, then some country or the other will remain. So to avoid this situation this is a suitable option.

I suppose staff'd be more reluctant to do this as it'll be quite a lot of work to change countries (from other) once the appropriate country is added to MDL- if this 'other' was added, staff would certainly be inundated with hundreds (if not thousands) of titles in a rather short time, and thus before the other countries are added,  staff'd have to go through every single one of the 'other' titles to add, for example,  Vietnam.

Definitely agree with you that this'd be useful for MDL users, but yes would take a cnsiderable amount of time to change from 'other' when the time comes, and yh staff are very limited on time as it is.
