Someone with access to the members' database could probably delete the info for you. Otherwise block MDL on the social accounts' side.

For email, make a throw away account somewhere free like Outlook and switch your MDL to that.

I was referring to the first part of this. The very fact that we have to do all these workarounds right now and still leave a trail to our identity in the end is why this suggestion exists in the first place. Especially given how people are considering being more privacy-conscious worldwide at the moment, it's understandable to want a clean exit without losing years of activity.

As for the rest, 'splain away. You've reminded me how much this thread exhausted me back in the day and what a mistake it was to reach out in kindness to try to help what seemed to be an urgent problem for someone. Not to go into technical things, but just to try to help someone.

I get that you meant well, but it kinda just came across as if you were expecting a personal thank you from @Aster and were thus offended when there was none and they're still active on here. Your workaround is useful, but in the meantime, the suggestion remains valid. Attacking them for still being active here, like they should have just done the workaround and left if they were to make this suggestion post, was unkind. I apologise if I came across as explaining too much, but I felt it was needed. I'll stop quoting you now, so you're not bombarded with notifications.

NO. I give up.
