It would be great if we could have a grid view option for custom lists on MDL, similar to Letterboxd. Instead of displaying titles vertically in a list, we could see posters arranged side by side. This would make custom lists more visually appealing and easier to browse. I would really love to see this feature added!

It is coming :)

I am happy to hear that—I would love to be able to toggle it or have it look like the large version of the calendar like this though with the info we put instead of the dates/times and ranks etc (or generic info for voting lists):

At least on my tablet, 3 can pretty easily fit without overcrowding, and it’s a pretty standard ratio as height and width are concerned. I’d be content enough with two, happy with 3, and probably feel like 4 is too much unless solely the poster and title and star which I don’t like the idea of for lists since the personally added info is what I like most about them.

Even more than custom lists, I’d love search results to have more side by side… a 3x8 (/9/10) result page would be visually more pleasant to browse than scrolling vertically with only a few results seen at a time, even if zoomed out. Of course, it needs to be an option since small skinny devices consistently used in portrait mode wouldn’t be as pleasant if everything is scrunched. I never view this or much of anything in portrait mode (except the glitchy behavior when someone’s feed post pictures have the bottom cut off because they posted them from a phone and my horizontal layout makes the text at the bottom cut out lol).
