If I delete my account, will both my name and activity be removed? Some websites do delete the user account, but the user’s activity remains visible. I would actually prefer that  I don’t mind if my activity stays, as long as I no longer exist as a user or my email is not attached to it.

I noticed a user deactivated their account for some days and all their reviews and comments were removed until they reactivated...

I scanned through the privacy policy and there's nothing about what happens to your data when your account is closed. At least not as far I could see.

If it was only for a few days, why do you think he deactivated it? Maybe he was suspended? Or whatever MDL does to problematic users.

If that’s the case, then I suppose it would be different from a deactivation.

Ty. But that’s a pity. If I ever decide to deactivate mine, I’d also like to know whether my activity, like comments, forum posts, images, or other contributions stays up.

I asked them that they had deactivated

So there's a sort of 'suspended time' before the account is completely deactivated or canceled. That's interesting, do you know how long it lasts?

i just open suggestion for this  Allows account deletion while preserving previous contributions or activity.

Replied there in order to bring it up again. Some clarity on this issue would be great. Having both options - a full account data deletion, and a simple deactivation (like the [deleted] users on reddit who still have their comments remain) would be really useful.
