Quantcast

Not sure what is happening, but I went to my currently watching list and had at least a couple of titles there that I’ve never heard of, typically ones marked completed but without ratings being how I spot them since I rate everything I watch (no, my account hasn’t shown any indication of being hacked). This time, they have “ERROR” on them, something that someone hacking my account and randomly adding titles would not be able to do, I don’t think, unless doing something to the site coding.

I deleted one of them (19-Nineteen, a movie with a couple guys from BIGBANG—I would never have added something with Seungri as the lead given the scandal that made me never care to see him). This one I left so admins can see it, but here’s how it looks on the page:

It shows that I watched all but the final episode, also the least likely thing for me to do unless waiting for subs. I’ve never heard of this title before now. There is no history (no start date for watching, no history showing when it was added to my list, etc) in those tabs. The link to it:

I don’t mind my account sometimes having Test Account links/contributions I am unaware of, but my watchlist should at least only have what I add. No one has access to my device other than me, and nothing that indicates an actual hacking in of my account is there. The page was not in my browser history, either, and I don’t use any public devices or even use WiFi that is not secure and requiring a log in or other authentication (basically work or home; when I go out, the last thing I want to do is continue doing the things I would be doing at home😂).

The monkeys in the code are having a little too much fun flinging things around. Figured someone on the tech end should at least know they’re up to no good in there. 🐒
