For me their acting has improved much more than before. They always been good but now they're awesome

Yeah, I agree that their acting has improved. However, I always felt like they were amazing when it comes to acting.  When I watched LITA, I couldn't believe that Boss was an upcoming actor because he did amazing as Phayu. I even like his mindset in wanting to challenge himself and even do better than others as well in a healthy way. My only issue is with Noeul, I think its time for him to get out of these roles because his portrayal of Phu isn't that different than Rain when it comes down to how he reacts to things along with body language. I want to see him play a more dominant role, I hope that many say this so that we can see Noeul in a different role and not get type casted.

Yes it's true Noeul should get different roles 🙌🏻

Phu and Rain are different. The only similarities are they are cute virgins but personality wise they are vastly different. The first episode has not yet touched on Phu's character yet but you can already tell it's not the same as Rain. Phu holds a belief in lucky systems (you'll see why as the show progresses) and because of this he has to do things a certain way to guarantee he is lucky. He's also very smart and thinks through a lot. Its why he tries to gain an understanding into why Cirrus thinks he's his boyfriend. He didn't believe him but he wanted to know what influenced it. Rain was more hotheaded. Reacted first thought things through later completely different from Phu. You'll also see with this show that while Phayu held the reigns in LITA, its really Phu who holds the power in their relationship in this show because Cirrus only does what Phu tells him to do.

@MaeshondaColeman I'm sorry, but what you said had nothing to do with what I said. I read The boy next world back in 2022 before it was announced that Boss and Noeul would be casted in the series. I already know that Phu and Rain are not the same because I read the book prior and Noeul said it several times in which I agree. I am talking about Noeul's acting since this is a discussion thread about their acting skills based off the 1st episode. I said that they are both good, however Noeul needs to get casted in a different role because his mannerisms and body language is the same when it comes to playing both Rain and Phu who are "submissive" and not dominant characters. I'm not the only one that have said this, Noeul even said this himself on a live with Boss and I agree with him. If he keeps on getting these types of characters, he will be type casted and he will not improve as an actor. I have already seen many say that the looks that he has in his personal life, he would definitely look good playing a more dominant character. On the other hand, many have said the same for Boss considering that even though Phayu and Cirrus are different Boss looks more soft here in terms of both looks and overall character. I would love for Boss to play more character like this as well. Again, this has nothing to do with characters yet their acting skills.

I agree about Noeul having different roles and have even made this argument myself to where I think the dynamics should switch because in real life their dynamics are swapped. I feel a more mature role would be good for him. The only point I made was that the characters are not the same. I wouldn't even really call Phu submissive because his word goes unlike with Phayu and Rain. I don't think there's anyone who doesn't agree on the fact that Noeul deserves a more mature role and I'm sure he'd excel at it if given the chance. But with him under MMY and Mame being known for her innocent virgin tropes I don't know if he'll get the chance to branch out, but hopefully she switches things up.

I feel like those two have a special type of chemistry. Their acting has improved and I just hope that they will not be "stuck" playing similar roles. It's unfortunate, but once an actor plays a certain role really well often they will be cast for somewhat similar roles, because the directors will think that they will manage great, based on prior performance.
