Chinese or Korean?

Hey guys just wondering if this was filmed before the

Korean version or was it the Korean that was the originator? I know this project spent a bit of time in limbo even before Kris Wu's heinous scandal and fitting conviction.

This was filmed before the Korean version and follows the original Chinese novel too. I think the Korean adaptation didn't follow the whole novel because the novel is divided into 4 books

And the drama didn't spend time in limbo before KW incident because they were already getting ready to release it before it happened

Chinese version was filmed end of 2020 until mid 2021, Korean bad adaptation in 2021 until quite the end of 2022

i remember it wrong then, but at least i remember correctly that it was filmed before the bad korean adaptation
