Same doubt! He faked his death to take Babylon from the roots! He knew that once his after his death Bale must kill his niece, so took long term plan to take down entire Babylon from his niece back, so this pic indicates that he fought with Bale that led to season 2!?

I was expecting this twist from the start. But seriously did he think his training of her growing up would really stack up to what she had to face.

No, two are different stories different dramas

Killers Paradox - crime, killer, investigation

He obviously fought with Bale and/or Babylon...

Did he win? Probably a draw...
