I took a peek at the book ending for this Drama and there is a scene I wish they kept in. 

In the novel, after Bai Jue's sacrifices, she manages to find traces of Bai Jue's thoughts on her bracelet. What she finds is, 'I am Bai Jue'. Seeing that, Shang Gu absolutely loses it and starts to cry. She wonders if those were the words he wanted to tell her the most, that he was Bai Jue, not Qing Mu, Bo Xuan or anyone else. 

It gives a whole lot of significance to the first words he says to her at the end.

Yeah i wished they would keep it too because Shang Gu reaction is priceless.

Can someone give me a spoiler on what happens to Yuan Qi when he grows up? Or does the book end with Bai Jue returning? It feels a little pointless that Bai Jue returned only after 500 years, I feel like it should have been much longer given how short of a time period that is for an immortal.

YuanQi story is another novel, I'm still on chapter 8 lol he still studying with Donhua and Bai Jue isn't back yet.

Liu Xueyi does not fail to make like his character in any drama, I even liked Hao Chen lol
