For anyone who bought the novel, how many chapters are there? Seems like each chapter is reaaally long, about 30-50 pages said by the translator, which is... woah... a lot! Might really get my hands on the novel! I can't wait to read it all one day when all are translated aahhh (afraid I might have to wait long tho lol or else I learn Chinese atp 😂)!

I brought the novel. It’s two books. There’s a total of 582 pages. I can’t Chinese so I just look at the few pics at the start of each book only. 😅

I think I will buy the novel despite not being able to read Chinese for memories of my FoF days 😂 Maybe one day I'll be able to read Chinese tho... we'll see? 🤣 But wow that's a lot! I'm so eager to read the entire thing! Is this like the original script kind of or smth since it's an official novel?

Get it! I got a few merch to remember FoF. 🤣 From what I know they made a novel using the script so it should be just like the drama with all the cut scenes they had to edit/cut to fit the amount of episodes they were allowed.

If that's the case then omg I'm so happy! We need all those deleted scenes! Then I can imagine what the drama is originally supposed to look like based on this! Makes the novel all the more worth it hehe! Hope we don't have to wait too long until then to read it tho 🥲 I plan to rewatch FoF by the end of the year so maybe by then we can hopefully 🫠

Yes I heard. I know one is in the last episode, right? I'm also quite excited to see their longer conversations in the novel.

I also can't wait to see all the deleted Zhu Yan and Li Lun scenes~ We didn't get enough of their backstory, and it looks like they had to delete a lot unfortunately, so this one excites me a lot!

Dang I am so curious how many deleted scenes there are in general. Bet they cut out a lot. Just the thought of reading the novel and imagining all the deleted makes me excited!
