Possible (accurate/positive) asexual representation?

Is it possible than show might have ace representation? Even better, Is there any way this show isn’t going to dump on asexuality as a valid human, sexual identity? I would be so beyond excited.

That’s what it really feels like. I’m only 4 episodes into it and it really feels like the male lead is ace. They haven’t mentioned anything about being ace yet, but his character has made some statements that make it feel like that’s the direction they’re going.

i first thought that he way a closeted gay but then it became apparent that he was asexual. The question really is how much of the pressure asexual people are under to become sexual for the sake of their partners???? If you have it everybody enjoys it, but if you don't then what? faking it and allowing others to be used?
