Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an English version of the novel. I did find a summary which seems to describe the entire book in one page:
https://minaninablog.wordpress.com/2017/07/11/%E6%8A%A2%E6%9D%A5%E7%9A%84%E6%96%B0%E5%A8%98-qiang-lai-de-xin-niang-intransigient-bride/
The e-book link on that site leads to a completely different thing which has nothing to do with books, so its no use clicking on that link.
The audio link seems to lead to an audio version of the book in Chinese, but I don't speak/understand Chinese, so I have no idea about the correctness of it.

Thanks for the link.

Thank you so much for posting the novel! Holy shit, the drama writers did a fantastic job because if they stayed true to the novel, I probably would've hated it. Bless them for creating Qimin too, he was my favorite character <3

Same. Especially the whole Stockholm-syndrome after r**e.....

The series is way better than the novel. But... I kinda expected more.... intense romance, more.... I don't know... But it's good still.

OMG, not to mention the hair grabbing and slamming her to the floor, fuck that shit!

Absolutely agree the drama was SO much better! That's interesting, I thought the romance was quite heavy considering Xuan Lie's role as a general of Beixuan. I felt like it was no question he put Qiluo above all else. Were you expecting more angst?

Oh, I totally agree with you on that hair grabbing and things. I don't understand why the author felt the need to write all of that. It felt like the author was glorifying all of this behaviour. So I'm very happy the series has done it differently.

As for the romance, it was not so much him showing he put Qiluo above everything else. It's.... I don't know. Just a feeling, I guess :D
