Can someone please explain to me what the point of this scene was? It seemed very out of character for Do Min Joon to pay any attention to a female flirting with him. This scene made me feel like he was wavering and i did not like that.

I think the directors intended for the scene to be parabolic or metaphoric. Bae Suzy is a leading lady (not in this drama) who briefly mesmerize the leading male in this drama about an actress who is a leading lady. I at first thought that maybe she was someone from his planet trying to help Min Jun by making Song Yi jealous and more willing to talk but her storyline went no futher than that one scene.  The scene just made me want to push her off the screen for Song Yi. 🤣
