Hi everyone!!

Since there's so many shows coming out right now, and it almost seems like there's a new one being announced everyday, I was curious what upcoming BL's/GL's everyone was most excited for :)

For me, the BL I'm most looking forward to is definitely The Grim Lover, not just because I love PoohPavel, but also because the plot seems really interesting. I think there's more BL's coming out now that are branching out into other genres like horror and fantasy, more so than before, and I think that's making room to explore a lot of new storylines in BL. Speaking of, another series I'm really excited for is The Prosecutor's Proposal. As someone who believes that Korea does the best thriller/murder mystery shows, I can't believe we're getting a proper thriller/BL k-drama. Feels like a dream come true, and I hope we get more similar shows in the future.

Bittersweet Love, Blue Lips, and The Edge of Horizon are also some BL's that seem intriguing and I'm keeping an eye on them.

There's also The Lie We Lived In which is currently airing. I haven't got around to watching it yet, but the premise sounds thrilling.

What upcoming BL's/GL's is everyone most excited about ?

I am most excited about Magic Lover!!!! I really, REALLY hope it actually comes out because the pilot trailer thing was so unique and so funny. I do know one of the actors backed out, but I've heard that they are looking to replace him so I don't think it's getting scrapped just yet. I am so hungry for more KengNamping shows, so I'm really looking forward to it!!

I remember watching the pilot for Magic Lover around the time it came out, and finding it really fun and charming. Hopefully the final series will keep those elements, since I know a lot of BL's go through some big changes in-between the pilot and the official trailer/final show. And unfortunately, they sometimes lose exactly the thing that made them interesting or set them apart in the first place. I loved the pilot for Melody of Secrets, it looked like a proper psychological thriller, but then the official trailer came out and I was so disappointed. It felt so stripped of the darker style and suspense the initial pilot had. I did give it a try, but didn't end up enjoying the first few episodes and dropped it. :/

But hopefully everything goes well with Magic Lover and it comes out sometime soon. It's the worst when shows get stuck in limbo, and there's no confirmation of it either coming out at a specific time, or being cancelled, and instead it's just radio silence.
