Fantasy Remake: Korean Buffy (the Vampire Slayer)
Help me narrow down my choices for Korean Buffy! These were images I got with MidJourney when I was learning how to use visual AI generators. My prompt evolved over time, so some of these are based on its training data including actual images from BtVS and some are much more the result of me going for a Korean remake that has cultural parallels to the original. For example, I asked ChatGPT to help me find East Asian monsters and symbols to use instead of, say, vampires and crosses. I also realized that Buffy did not necessarily have to have blonde hair (maybe highlights or streaks of color instead), but I decided she should still be petite since that was integral to her character subverting stereotypes/expectations. I'm starting with Buffy, since she's the main character, and it's the hardest one to decide. I needed a tournament style system for myself and thought it would be fun to get others to join in too!
