Favorite Dramas

My all time favorite. But if you're very sensitive, it will seriously affect you. It's a tragedy/melo/makjang.

Prison drama. A bit "heavy" (a bit darker than korean TV usually allows) but definitely well written, and full of suspense.

Reason Jang Hyuk is now my number 1 favorite actor. This drama is completely unpredictable.

This drama is known as a classic. It opened me up to a new kind of humor. It was a new world for me. I had never laughed so much in my entire life. 

Wonderful story about finding love despite having a handicap.

What if a robot showed more humanity than us ? That drama surpassed my expectations. Never ever thought a sci-fi production would be in my top 10 of all time favorites. I was blown away!

Probably So Ji Seob's best drama to date. Don't be fooled by the (quite subpar) 1st episode. It's about rivalry between two brothers.

Well what can I say ? Fantastic story, perfect cast. What struck me were the quality of the female roles. Thank you writer-nim!

Oldie but goodie. Extremely fun to watch, including the fashion sense at the time (note : it's of course a bit over the top since the lead is rich therefore extra)

Lee Sang Yoon and Shin Sung Rok are completely awesome here. Loved it because it was all about mind games. How far would you go for money ?

Most definitely ahead of its time in terms of female depiction, though I'm not a fan of everything. Hilarious as well. Pure classic.

Brilliant! Perfect leads, Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra don't disappoint. It's hilarious and beautiful to watch.

Oh my goodness everytime Yoon Eun Hye cries I cry with her. Very well produced drama, full of emotions and suspense.

I tell you Nam Goong Min is a phenomenal villain! Yoon Seung Ho is amazing here as well. Legal drama about lies and corruption, power of money etc. 

This one is a huge milkshake of laughter and tears. Very moving, fresh and fun. 

Very different from what I expected. The female roles are quality, kudos to the male writer-nims for this.

Game changer in Korea as one of the rare shows at the time that showed a difference in terms of how men and women were depicted (Kim Sam Soon is another classic that did the same before this one). Killed many stereotypes.

Soo Ae won me as a fan here. Makjang, full of craziness, secrets and suspense from start to finish.

Ok, if you want to see a scary villain (played by Nam Goong Min), specifically because he looks innocent, try this one.

Impressed by Kim So Hyun. She's definitely showing off her skills here. This story is  not what you'd expect.

Touching and realistic. About how friendship can help us deal with the challenges and problems life throws at us.

Another great drama with Soo Ae. What I can tell you though, is that this is not a typical lead role that she's playing.
