Historical C-Dramas that Chronicle Chinese Past

In this new list, I mean to organize the historical C-dramas that cover the time span of great moments or major events in Chinese History. The longer the drama, the likelier to be included here, but exceptions in length are acceptable. Being merely set during a specific period is not enough. It is necessary to be essentially historical in its entirety.
