My Favorite High Quality Costume dramas

Morally grey characters at their finest! And Spicy!!!!!

DAMN I miss watching this drama for the very first time. If they hadn't ruined the second season this would have been on the very top!

This lost so many brownie points because of that terrible ending. (not sad, but weird) 

Oh! Such beautiful acting! I'm putting this higher on the list because it has a happy ending and I'm petty! 

Oh, you cruel cruel drama. My heart is shattered but this drama was so worth it!

I'm so so glad they made this Korean version, such better acting and quality than the original! I was laughing every single second!

Guilty pleasure, sort of like a Makjang but Chinese

This is still ongoing, but its definitely a must watch. (Read the novel too if you like spice and a bit more details, they skip over a lot)

Damn... for a while this movie got me into a whole "samurai crush season" the stunts are spectacular!!!

One of the first Chinese costume dramas I watched. The first season had me hooked! Unfortunate the second season lost its original quality

I think this Dylan Wang has never looked this good in any other of his dramas, this was the best look for him. Really enjoyed the story, loved the dynamic... hated Esther's voice here though, it was so annoying until the very end.

didn't think I'd like this as much as I did, was very invested in seeing what happens in the next episode. Though it has it's shortcomings, its an enjoyable watch!
