My very first drama and I loved it!!! I loved it so much I rewatched several times...

Now, when I first watched it, I gave it 8 stars..but I'm not sure if that rating would hold today. :)

Loved the romantic comedy, the cooking and the male leads. ( Of course my heart was broken over the 2nd lead.)

My first fangirling over an actress: Park Shin Hye.

This drama touched me because I was also an introvert and the way the male lead in this drama gradually coaxes the female lead out into the real world and gives her back life was truly inspiring.

Can you say you have watched kdramas without having watched this pillar? Ah...the toxicity....the poor female lead who is dependent upon a rich male to save her....But I enjoyed every minute. Again, after a few hundred dramas, there is not much I would stick out for in this drama but if it's your first? Amazement. :)

Dropped after a few episodes. Oddly, this was a drama I came back to a few years later after reading the webtoon and enjoyed.

Another toxic male lead....poor female dependent upon the rich male to save her....and a group of hot male friends ( one even plays the violin!) Watching this after "the Heirs" I started to put together a pattern...ah. Wealth, Poor girl....cold then caring..

Just as I was putting together patterns...this banger entered the scene. What do you mean that both characters can be poor, work hard and succeed?! And fall in love?!!!!

Now I was really hooked. This was my kind of drama.

First introduction to the childhood friends to lovers trope. Also all the drama tragedy tropes haha.

A female lead that saves the male lead...reminiscent of "Flower Boy next Door" but with the genders swapped.

I did not enjoy the whole drama but noted "There was character transformation."

This drama still irritates me to this day. So much potential between the leads and yet they absolutely bombed the storyline.

Ok. You can understand now. Based on what all I watched previously. This drama CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!!

..the bromance....the fantasy elements...the flashy and dramatic scenes...the bittersweet ending...the comedy mixed with moments that made me sob....THE OST

I was not the same after this. I decided I was into this for the long haul and started learning Korean. Hahah

It cracks me up now how I went from the complete opposite of the "Goblin" to "Welcome to Waikiki."

This drama is still on my yearly watchlist. It is so funny and stress relieving....

The OST "Waikiki Wonderland" is on my favorite OST list.

Through research I discovered...ah! This "Playful Kiss " drama is actually a series that keeps getting remade. So I made my own list and started going through them and started to delve into other dramas that were not just Korean.

This Taiwanese version I still rewatch.

1st drama to watch as it was currently airing.

2nd drama to watch as it was airing. Loved the girl friendships and seeing hardworking women succeed! It also featured one of my favorite male actors from Reply 1988.

Still on my watchlist. Love this and season 2 of the drama. It is good for a light story with fluff and minimal drama.

This OST... "Until the Day Dream Comes True" by Choi Sang Yeop. I can't tell you the amount of times I have belted this song out in the car in moments of stress trying to motivate myself to keep going for the dream. :)

Loved the mismatched family suddenly put together....this drama did not end as well as it started.

Not a huge fan....not sure why. I'm not huge into the male leads acting. My coworker loves him to death and yet...he is not deep enough for me? I also blame my reaction to his resemblance to a guy I know who is an absolute ick. Haha.

I learned the piano solo from this drama. " The Song for My Brother" By ear. Because I coudln't wait for someone to make sheet music.

From this drama I also started deep diving into the history between North and South Korean and came out the other end with adding a random "North Korean morning exercise" youtube video to my wakeup routine? Hahahahahah I recomend.

A drama I suddenly picked up because I thought hey.....maybe I will learn something about baseball and finally get into sports like my other coworkers. Maybe this will make me have a NORMAL interest. hahhhaa.....guess what? I did not finish this drama but always plan to. :)

My Chinese American boss finds out I love kdramas. He recommends to me with much enthusiasm this Chinese drama. " I watch it to learn Chinese while driving back and forth between states."

My first Chinese period drama where random characters start fighting and flying in the air. Massively confused. But hooked.. hahaah

I dive into my 2nd Chinese period drama. This one a comedy. Oh my goodness....so funny.....the interactions between the 2 main leads. The ladies are all gorgeous. The complexion, the clothes... and then halfway through, this drama started tapering off.

I still like to rewatch the first few episodes. They kind of are like standalone stories...looking back, this has a bit of "Apothecary Diaries" vibes.

One of my favorite COMEDIES OF ALL TIME. It's wacky, makes zero sense but I love it.

Funny thing. I wasn't a huge fan the first time..but on the 2nd rewatch a year later? Different story. Hhaha just goes to show sometimes Dramas are not meant for your current season, but at the right time..they will make an impact. :)

My first Korean variety dating show. <3 Ah.......I love these.

Watched as it currently aired. Wacky storyline but in the moment I enjoyed.

A smart female lead who can also fly through the air and fight?! Mulan who?

Arggggggggg........ don't even get me started on this STUPID ending. One of the worst chopped up endings of all drama time. Otherwise this drama would have been high up the list for me. Good character chemistry and charming story.

As a classical musician myself, I massively enjoyed the classical piano excerpts and teaching music moments.

I watched all of this...but remember none of this.

Fun! :) I love food so of course this story setting hit it off with me.

Again, classical music and musician fan here...but for some reason I can't ever finish this drama. Even though its good.
