These are my favorite, most enjoyed dramas that came out in 2026. NOT the dramas I watched during the year, but dramas that aired in 2026.
I organize them by score BUT also by how many times I rewatched it (even if I just go back to specific episodes).

Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes
this was such an interesting watch
the drama reeled me in episode after episode and i was really here for the little creepy sister dynamic Wangyan and Wuyi had going on there for a second.
obsessed with the romance. this was THE definition of yearning, for BOTH couples. Wangyan and Shiguang were the definition of "she fell first but he fell harder" and then Ji Ling and Wuyi provided the opposite, although I feel like they were more evenly matched, but for sure it was giving "he fell first but she fell harder"

WANYIN THE WOMAN YOU ARE!!
the costumes for this were so gorgeous and ma boi was loving on her HARD. can't blame him though, wanyin is awesome and also he's been through so much so its no wonder he basically fell in love with her right away.
the drama on this one also had me on the edge of my seat but can you blame me lol like all the lying and mystery he he. it's not really like a mystery driven drama, it's definitely more court driven, like who's gonna retain power and rule over the nation and what not but the fact that we keep finding out about the ML as the episodes go on makes for a really interesting dynamic.
and ma man is also giving yearner throughout this whole thing. specially when he makes it clear that she will have a choice to leave him until the very end ❤️ ugh what a gentleman
