He Jingzou-Lin Wu plot version
As far I know there is 3 version of Lin Wu-He Jingzhou story. Since I watched all of these version, I will make quick summary of the plot. The Original Plot is from novel Baby, Dont You Like Me? (宝宝 ,你是不是喜欢我 ) by Hebie Qinshan. Too bad this underatted adaptation didnt get the hype, because of main leads mid popularity and less of promotion.
Main Plot: Lin Wu proactively suggests pretending to be couple to one of He Jingzhou friends and her main purpose to get close to He Jingzhou.
Main Character:
- Lin Wu (Female Lead Character) portrayed as someone who comes from ordinary family, insecure due her poverty, and secretly like He Jingzhou since her highschool time
- He Jingzhou (Male Lead Character) portrayed as wealthy man who quite arrogant and carefree person. Actually he is also fall to Lin Wu but he didnt want to scare her

Strong Point:
Wang Ziyi shows vulnerable person without being too dramatic. It feels so humanism. They got secret love and gentle romance vibe of novel right.
Flaws:
The flaw on this version they don't show FL backstory especially her mom who make her confident down which is the key for Lin Wu progress of character growth. This version skipped many crucial part of ML backstory so people will confused why his character become that

Chinese Drama - 2025, 80 episodes
Strong Point:
Hu Jiani gets the cutest aura for all the version. They giving support character backstory. Cao Yuan and Hu Jiani got balanced duo that not make one of them feel overpowered.
Flaws:
The flaw is its too dramatic for sweet drama. I know they want to make this version has strong emotion but the tug-of-war feeling is only to make the main story dragged and lost the main purpose to get sweet romance drama.

Chinese Drama - 2025, 79 episodes
Strong Point:
Gao Mingchen is giving the best He Jingzhou in term of characterization for all the version. They gave FL backstory justice and we knew her mother in this adaptation. The kisses is quite decent though.
Flaws:
The flaw on this version is Female Lead obvious rookie acting on few parts but you can forgive it. She didn't show emotion when she cried. If they could built up the chemistry, this could beat the first version since the plot is most refined compare to all version.
