My Absolute Favourite BLs (of all time)

I'll repeat myself: YES I am aware that technically The Untamed is not a BL but just try and tell me that it's not obvious they're in love. There are sooo many hints and subtle confessions throughout the show, the show's original source is a BL, and even the director and actors have said WWX and LWJ were in love/boyfriends. Legit, Xiao Zhan (WWX) and Wang Yibo (LWJ) were talking/arguing over LWJ being a trash bf for *certain actions in the show*. Just trust me when I say YOU SHOULD WATCH IT, it's a masterpiece - the only flaws are the wigs lol. 

THIS IS ALMOST PERFECT TO ME, IT'S SO SO SO SO GOOD, SO WELL EXECUTED. I cried, that's how invested I was.

One of GMMTV's best series. I loved PerthSanta and JuniorMark storylines more than ForceBook's but I still loved theirs as well. PerthSanta and JuniorMark are among my favourite couple pairings! This is a MUST WATCH

I'm not going to write longish comments for everything but I'm just going to say that if it wasn't for my love, obsession, and extremely deep emotional attachment to The Untamed, then I Told Sunset About You would 100% be my number 1 favourite BL - and technically, if we don't count The Untamed as a BL in the first place, then ITSAY is my favourite. This is another true MASTERPIECE and I really don't use that word lightly. Everything about ITSAY is beautiful; the cinematography, soundtrack, acting, chemistry, plot, etc. I love how raw and genuine everything feels, nothing feels fake or lacking. And even though BK (Teh) may not have the prettiest crying face, the emotion there is real and raw so I couldn't care less. Do yourself a favour and watch this, followed by the documentary! That makes the whole experience even more beautiful.

This is the third and only other BL drama I've given a 10/10 rating. All three of these shows are so different and honestly, the tropes in this aren't exactly original but it is for a BL drama. Especially for it being this good. I actually shipped both BL couples (which honestly doesn't happen often lol) immensely and both were so cute. However, the second couple was still my favourite - so pure ugh - and Jack was for sure my favourite character overall. The HIStory franchise as a whole is amazing for the most part (if you exclude the stories in HIStory1) but Trapped tops all the others for me. I know a lot of people who prefer Make Our Days Count but I felt more invested/engaged in Trapped the entire way through, loved all the characters and the MODC ending really brought down my rating for the show. 

Genuinely, I've never cared for JimmySea all that much but I tend to love their series'? Last Twilight is my favourite of theirs and yes I cried multiple times. Sea's acting is actually next level, I was convinced he was actually blind 

Unpopular opinion: this was low key better than the actual series. Bright and Win acted way more naturally and comfortably with each other this time (most of the head pats, cuddling and cheek kisses were improvised lol) and unlike a lot of short specials of series, this had an actual plot for the most part. It wasn't just fluff. I honestly really loved this.

I couldn't quite give this a 10/10 and not really for any particular reason. The cinematography was great, soundtrack was good - so was the acting, chemistry, and plot. But there were just a few small things that kept me from being 100% blown away and captivated by this. Honestly, I can't even tell you what those small things are. SO, I gave this a 9.5/10 because it was still AMAZING, unique, had amazing acting (especially from Ohm wow I love him), and it had me crying a lot. 

i don't remember watching this like at all but apparently I loved it? i'll have to rewatch at some point

If you can get past the bad/super fake CGI/fx, this was genuinely so good imo! JossGawin... their chemistry is top notch.
