This one is actually very good. Good chemistry, good acting, solid story. But the middle and end were not my cup of tea story-wise. 

Really intense powerplay and role inversion, but I could have done without the rape scene.  but HEA of  a sort... #TagsDon'tLie

The lockdown video format is super cute. Feels very natural and more like an revamped Bravo lovestory

This one is colourful. Nevermind the story. Uea is beautiful. Every ounce of him exudes this and they let him pose like a model. A LOT.  Which is good because his acting is nothing special. 

P'King bringing back the guy-liner is also quite funny.

I am in this love/ hate reationship with MixEarth. I watch all their stuff, the stories are novel, romantic, more real-life with less drama, great writing/directing, relatable characters, growth & connection, and intense chemistry, but I always end up finding them a bit boring and slow. Same here. Yet I can't wait for the next one. Maybe because it doesn't tick any of my kink boxes and is just really amazing soul food.

I actually loved the idea and dynamic of this. But it's a bit rushed at points and confusing. Mark was a great character.  They announced a special which would be an exptention but no airing date so far

well, let's be fair: other than decent chemistry/charisma provided mostly curtesy of Pearl, this does not give me historical vibes at all. But the problems the prince is facing are tormenting and and thus give his character more depth than otherwise expected and make this rather enjoyable.

It needs 2-3 eps to get used to and the HEA was very sudden, but I loved that they show the internal dialogue of both leads.

ps. How does he make all his suits look like PJs?

This is so sad it completely overshadows the BL-part. Watch this because it's great. Not because it's BL.

I liked the premise of exploring relationships and characters through the way they have sex and not showing it as something holy like the final result of a relationship. But the 'thriller' backdrop story was weak and spoilt the whole thing towards the end.

I wanted to like this one, because it was beautiful to see Pei Jia fall in love with his co-star, but the whole drama towards the end did nothing for me.

Nice slow burn. Is the older man / younger man dynamic experiencing a renaisssnce in 2024? Very thoughtful romance scene.

I actually perferred the second couple here, because the Sea/Neil was too much healing all around. Watch this in one go, otherwise you'll never finish.

When I see people screaming 'toxicity' in the comments over and over - I'm like: 'where? where??'. The twisted relationship works for me, but I had some issues with the storytelling.

the NSFW scenes are barely  PG 12+ - even in the uncut version. But I liked Day's fixation with Itt's neck. I thought the two side couples acutally had much better chemistry.

The best thing about this drama LSS fighting people & the ridiculous pyjamas.

Doe-eyed vicitim-boy with unconquered heart meets vogue cover model / invincible shaman / local heartthrob  in remote Cabbot-cove like backwater.  The directors really went all out with the ghost-thriller-jump-scares in ep 1. Any normal person would have gone mad long ago (See the Ninth House). Not so our puppy ML - he just sleeps it off. And then there bag of jump scares was all empty because afterwards it's as tame as if it were made by GMMTV - the second couple does well in the realism department but then they just revert to friends for half the series. Ran out of plot there?

this makes me cringe so hard, but you kinda keep on watching. better than average manga adaptation.

Cool premise but the betrayal twist was so off-putting I barely managed to finish, even though I could understand where he came from.

The role of Tawan is not fleshed-out. He does nothing a professional producer should do, instead alternating between mopey and cheeky (read: inappropriately handsy)  and simply standing around like a potted plant. If they had given Tawan more spine / maturity letting him actually help Phi to turn his character around through a reality check that would have been nicer. why neglect a major role like that?

This is not the ex morning. This is a soft-boyfriend-still-madly-in-love morning.  Also, let us all admit that Singto is not a great actor. They have most chemistry and authenticity in their funny moments when they get to joke around.
And what is the use of the little fan girl? She adds nothing to the story - seems her sole purpose is to distract from the fact that there is total lack of substantial plot between Phi & Tawan in the 'now' timeline (ps. I can do my own squeeling off-screen, no need for an on-screen squeeler to cue me in)

 The writing in general seems off-balance. Any event in the 'now' timeline seems solely used to cue in a backflash. and the sole puepose of the backflash seems to be fanservice. meh. I want to see to exes, re-connecting, seeing how they 'still' fit together after many years and in a professional environment fraud with tension. I have so many problems with this show: clichés, too much riding SOTUS coattails instead of producing something to stand on its own.

Oho - look at Ohm suddenly showing off all kinds of cheekbones and flirting skills! He really outgrew the gentle features of He's coming to me. 

Strong start. Watch for the iconic kiss in ep 5. Thereafter your either love it or hate it.

zero chemistry and weak plot. Turns out Ohm needs a strong acting partner. Within 2 eps Ohm-Nannon had a strong relationship established in Bad Buddy. Still waiting for Leng and Ohm to create that kind of tension. Either may be replaced with a slice of white toast...

It's not actally bad. Better than Be loved in House: I do. Which is the same crew. But it's a bit bland

Why is everything Zee stars in like a  fanfics of a 12year old? Ah yes, because he is Prince Charming material. But here, his character has no ambitions, no depth, no nothing- he just exists to cherish the Prince. Yes, most girls want this, but is this realistic? No, it's bland. On the upside, Nu improved his acting a lot and the budget for this is really stunning. 

is this even BL? I think they had to cast GunOff and pepper in 3' of extended eye contact per episode just to get this plot sold.

In BL you can find bad writing, bad acting, bad chemistry any day... but this is the first time I see bad romance. Everything about this is wrong.

Heed rule #6 of the BL philosophy: with GMMTV,  it's key to know what not to watch. GMMTV is not doing Great any favours. He was Inspector M to the core. But he is not white knight material. what's with the Teddy bear act? The plot is so bland and boring I couldn't care less for their romance. 

it can hook you for a few eps with the flirting but then the story just has nowhere to go. And that jawline really doesn't work for me.

dnf. That rooftop if the most stunning scenery - that deep blue is gorgeous! I want to move there with a deck chair and a spend the summer there. Otherwise watch on double speed.

4 eps of this was quite enough. But I liked the chemistry and muted colours of the post editing. Gives it a retro feel.

Sorry, were you expecting a wholesome relationship or a morale at the end?  What part of the title gave you that misguided idea?   The problem is : what sissy-crap is this?

I am constantly going back and forth between dropping and binging. This has strong lakorn feel - not much to look at in terms of cinematography or editing. Bouncing between brutal and cringy. I think Film's acting is what makes this difficult to watch for me. He borders on loony lawyer, although I am given to understand his smile is supposed to be sexy. He is more authentic later but he still shows those lewd smiles in the most inappropriate moments. I am all for ravishing the drunk, but I am surprised that i draw the line at seducing a man who is emotionally wrecked by the death of his baby niece. And the abused rich boy and his bodyguard should be my kink but somehow that's even worse of a plot line.

Jam is actually a very good actor and makes the whole thing worth watching.

the writers sat in a room and Jon from accounting said "BDSM Mafia Boss". one person said "what about the storyline?" "don't worry about it" Jon from accounting replied. "the hornies don't care about that." and they really stuck to that because except the lil quarrel they had in the end, nothing really happened. Until Jon from accounting said "you know what. throw in a threesome, but don't build up or follow up on it at any point ok?" and the room said "Sure thing, Jon".

12 eps of 45' would have given them A LOT of room to tell a story. They choose not to. Actually, NOTHING much happens. Watch it with your brains switched off. It's pretty enough and the uncut version might actually be worth it for the steamy scenes as they carry a lot of the story. 

I like that strongberry is finally producing long series, but this is too vanilla. The characters are too similar. And then one marshallow is turning the other into a copy of himself

The acting is bad. Like: abyssmal. If you have one-dimensional characters and a paperthin plot you apparently can't be choosey with your cast.

On the controversy: I don't hold with criticism of romaticised rape, power imbalance or moronic MLs who fall for abusive/controlling assholes. People like what they like. And some people like non-con. What safer way to enjoy non-con than a fictious drama?  It's just that -HERE- there was nothing in the line of romance following that badly staged tumble. I can complain about that no end.

dnf. Another cheap, pop-up BL from Taiwan. Didn't even get around to seeing their chemistry as I as too bored before they even had any scenes with extended eyecontact. It's too cringy with these ridiculous plots. I don't even know if it's the acting or the script... it feels fake, although I think it might have worked with more tension.

Another man loves robot plot. They are a bit low budget and have plenty insta love, but kinda cute if you can buy into the premise. Sadly it is even worse than the first installment

Reviews foreshadow a big disappointement. I should have believed them.

If you’re looking for a show with cute animals in it, you won’t find it here, and you’re honestly better off just watching dog or cat videos on Youtube.

dnf. cute. I like that both think they are playing the long game. I mostly watched for the doc. I wish he 'd have more screen time. 

And then some. draggy with cliché misunderstanding plot line. 

dnf. I kinda liked it in the beginning but I have no patience for Jiwon after they get together. Sorry, but you can't sell me his behaviour as shy or innocent. Jungwoo is a white flag all around, solid, dependable and firm in what he wants; he all but comes out in an TV interview but Jiwon projects all his own insecurties onto Jungwoo and calls it 'concern for Jungwoo' thereby showing no respect for what Jungwoo wants or says and constantly hurts him even in front of their friends. Jungwoo tries every romantic tac in the book and Jiwon either through obliviousness or desintrerest ruins all of them. That is painful to watch. 

It's cheap, and cringey. The story is ridiculous and the acting very stiff. Watch this if you want to be cheered up and smile at how bad this is.

10 out of 10 for the intro and the STAIRCASE OF LOVE. 

Top: hiring a porn movie director as an advisor.
Flop: literally everything else: Sorn's ego trip, Jun is obviously not able to consent to the kind of power dynamic Sorn's creating.  we are told he likes Sorn, but other than the F*** it is not claer why. Then, on multiple (!) occasions we see Jun is not even enjoying that, so what is the point? 

And the GL story is the worst I have seen todate (dead fish meets Barbie)

dnf. Fluke is so typecast in his PJs, it made me sad. I usually like paradox timey-wimey plots, but I got hella confused here and wasn't invested enough to figure it out. Maybe if they'd given this more temporal room, now it's just instalove with a time-shift twist.

Should have been been Saint x Zee. Unfortunately script like a fanfic of a 12-year old,  if you can't find a better cliffhanger than Zee looking at you like he will eat you right up, you really really really have nothing to say.

High production but so far It's sadly going to lengthen my already overly long list of mediocre BLs which seems to be a specialty in Thaïland. Not great, not fun, but watchable when you have some time to waste.

The shy virgin trope with the vanilla plot is just too much. The novel it is based on is supposedly basically porn. Not sure that would have been better.
