Cristy Guo caught my eye in The Blue Whisper because she was stealing scenes left and right. Her portrayal of the evil villain was on another level! I'd argue she outshone Dilraba and Ren Jia Lun and while I was lukewarm on the drama overall and struggled to finish it amongst the mounting misery towards the end, I'm grateful I watched it for her performance alone (very much the same experience I had with Kang Han Na and 2021's My Roommate is a Gumiho).
