Top 5 best Korean TV shows to watch on a first date

Murder, love, scams—this K-drama wastes no time in dropping you into the world of con people.  The theme of the series is around privacy – what is considered to be private is now freely uploaded by the owners on the internet which causes a fine like between the right to privacy and how people can manipulate that behavior of people.

The action is exciting to watch, and with supernatural creatures in the mix, the action scenes are on a whole other level with creatures scaling scaffolding in a blink of an eye or zooming by at top speed. It’s all wonderfully done, and together, “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” delivers a superbly epic viewing experience!

The premise of The School Nurse Files is refreshingly quirky and funny, and feels more like an American series in tone than a K-drama.  

It feels like Record of Youth (original title: Chungchungirok) follows the pattern of most of the K-dramas we’ve seen on Netflix over the past couple of years. It dispenses with the more shticky aspects of K-dramas and goes for real characters with real friendships and real reactions.

Ji Jin Hee, the rest of the cast and production crew all deserved a pat on their back for a job well-done in adapting this series. They definitely gave viewers one of the best dramas of 2019.
