Recs for Rohita~
i tried to recommend one's based on the types of shows u mentioned liking so all of them have some sort of action in it. also i did include some iconic ones that u may or may not like? 2016-2018 was peak era of kdramas, some of them are cringe but in a funny/good way thats like, typical of a good kdrama. These days, they dont make them the same anymore ㅠㅠㅠ

1. Twinkling Watermelon
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

2. All of Us Are Dead
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
-
3. Duty after School: Part 1
Korean Drama - 2023, 6 episodes
Similar to All of Us Are Dead. Post-Apocalyptic + High schoolers. Not zombies.
-
4. Happiness
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
This is another zombie show. I initially watched it for the casting. Imo it's pretty different from your regular zombie apocalypse shows and might I say more realistic?? I liked their take on zombies. very good show.

5. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
I have to include this bc to this day its one of my top 5 faves. Its based on a webtoon, so you know the plot is really interesting. So unique. Good cast. I think I've rewatched it 3-4 times and I don't usually rewatch shows. This was the best era of kdramas.
Genre wise its a fantasy/thriller with romance as a sub plot. Well, I guess the romance is a main plot in a way bc ur following the main two leads, but the show is definitely not just about the romance.

6. Bloodhounds
Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
IF U WANT ACTION WITH GOOD FIGHT SCENES AND GOOD PLOT AND GOOD CHEMISTRY/ACTING BT THE LEADS THIS IS FOR U. Also has some comedic moments. Action/Crime/Thriller/Comedy.

7. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Very heavily leaning towards crime/thriller genre. One of the best of this genre. Has romance by default bc the main 2 characters are married, but its not a center plot at all. Very good watch. Ive also seen this 3 times lol. Definitely.. i cried during this one. The acting is great

8. Strong Girl Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Okay this is one of those I meant when I said i'm including it bc its classic/iconic. Definitely has action in it, extremely funny. One of my top 5. This was also from the peak era of kdramas..

9. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
I don't know why this is classified as a romance comedy? It definitely has romance and comedy, but its more than that lol. Has action. Probably more romance leaning than some others in this list tho. The actors got married in real life later on!!! U might cry

10. My Name
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
Watched for the casting initially. Action/Thriller/Crime. Has tiny romance subplot but not central by any means. Sick fighting scenes! Acting is great. Mini-series, so less of a commitment. Well, u might cry or be very upset at the least LOL
-
11. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
I included this from my top 5 as well. It is fantasy/action/crime but also way more romance heavy than some of the others. That doesnt take away from the main story tho. Very interesting/unique plot as well.

12. He Is Psychometric
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Definitely watched for the cast initially, but such a good show!! Fantasy/Crime/Thriller as well, emmm it has tiny tiny romance in it? I can't remember how much they leaned into that or if it was just subtle. Been a while since I've seen this.

13. Mouse
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Heavy on the thriller/crime. Really good show. They make u think u know whats going on when u definitely dont. I changed my theory so many times during this show.

14. Sweet Home
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
This is a "horror" drama which im not usually into but its pretty good. the cgi isnt the best thing ever? which is typical with more sci-fi/monster heavy kdramas tbh. Not too bad tho. Gore warning. Song Kang is a good actor but im convinced hes a sociopath the only good roles he can play are if hes borderline insane but thats okay. They made 1 or 2 more seasons of this, but i never got around to watching it mostly bc i feel like when they make more seasons it falls off hard. I definitely didn't hear as much hype for the newer seasons, but its based on a really good webtoon so, its not like they pulled something out of thin air, should be good enough.

15. Psychopath Diary
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Its been a while since i saw this so idk if it holds up but this show balances comedy and seriousness very well. Some people don't like the male lead because he's very exaggerated but I think that's why he fits this role well. I found it very funny but there's still the serious side to the plot. good show. crime/thriller/comedy.

16. Snowdrop
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
do u wanna cry?
-
17. Taxi Driver
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

-
18. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
u mentioned u wanted to watch this. definitely good. casting A+ plot A+ action A+.
-
19. Study Group
Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
Similar vibe to Weak Hero Class, except the main character is so insanely overpowered its so funny. Definitely not as gut wrenching or as good as weak hero. Very entertaining tho, fun watch
-
20. Extracurricular
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
underrated imo? Action/Crime. High school main characters. Idk why this didn't get traction at all.
