Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes
- Good acting! Especially Wang Xing Yue who gets to exercise his range and skills making the ML different than traditional or expected.
- Interesting characters. Wang Xing Yue as Xiao Bei Ming has the most depth and character development. But the FL Role is strong and unwavering. Support characters are colorful and do get some growth through the story.
- Plot is really good and unravels carefully without revealing too much too soon. The Villain/Antagonist does not become clear until the narrative is ready to let the audience know who the person is. Lots of surprises from turning traditional plot elements upside down.
- Romance is a background plot and doesn't take over the over all narrative (which I personally liked) so the audience isn't distracted by romance story cliché elements.
- Excellent costumes.
- Great action choreography.
- Good OST.

Chinese Drama - 2024, 36 episodes
- Good acting from leads and support characters.
- Strong Characters with depth and they grow and change with the story.
- Intricate mysteries and are woven carefully and don't give the plot away as the pieces are revealed.
- Great Thriller level tension.
