Deliciously whumpy. The main lead, a lead investigator, has a lot of trauma and PTSD, and often faints and has flashbacks. Everyone cares for him, especially the new guy. Lots of history between them two and has dark themes. Highly recommend. Also adapted from a manga.

a jdrama with crime-solving. The main guy is a weirdo in the best way possible, and there is an incredible and connection between him and other mysterious character (no spoilers). Whump is mostly emotional but the execution is beautiful - lonelylonelyghost

a relatively short historical cdrama about case-solving, an absolute hidden gem. Seemingly typical cheerful x uptight character, but with the very fun twist of devotion bordering on amorality. I'm still not over that twist in ep.3 I'll be honest - lonelylonelyghost

 a historical cdrama, also about breaking cases. There's a cook with sharp senses, a weird eye and voices in his head, and a dandy with daddy's money and hidden agenda. If you find somewhere some normal, not-ai subs, please tell me, because my eyes were bleeding while trying to watch, which was a pity because it looked very fun. Historical cdramas are 100% guaranteed at least some sort of suffering, so - llg
