♡ c-drama recommendations !! ♡

Each & every woman's story was intriguing; and although Wei Yingluo's cleverness was unrealistic sometimes, I loved her schemes. Also really liked the way she navigated herself upwards in a patriarchal, oppressive system and openly criticed the Emperor's ways but about this, I could go on and on. My favorite character was definitely Empress Fuca, her story made me cry so much.

Would be a 9.8 out of some reasons, but it sits in the same category as the 10/10s

Omg, no show won me over as quickly as this one. A cozy and heartwarming comfort watch with beautiful Kashgar scenery and culture, lovable characters (especially the grandma), and a touching healing journey centered around three girls. Laili and Farhat's love story touched me the most. Also liked how most conflicts were resolved very satisfyingly, though some characters had me ragebaited for half the drama. Should at least have an MDL rating of 8.7.

Perfect if you want something short and emotionally fulfilling.

How did this manage to hold my attention all the way to ep. 40?? Wasn't even one of my most anticipated '26 dramas but after binging, I've loved it sm more than the ones I've been waiting for. Really love how Gu Lan's character development is so realistic and this show serve both romance and political intrigue, love love lovee

A 9.5 since the plot felt a bit dragged in the beginning, but I give +0.5 points for Wang Xingyue's performance as Duke Su lol

So many unexpected twists and turns! Truly worth the watch for the story, plus it's totally my cup of tea. Loved the Ming Dynasty inspired aesthetics and the tea plantation sceneries the most

(First 10-ish and last 4 episodes were unnecessary tho, kinda threw me off)

Ahh, everything cliché and tropey you're looking for in a romance xianxia! Their love story was beautifully portrayed, so do not mind the cringeness and try watching this

More like "Romance of the Female General"... Disappointing execution (non-existent revenge storyline, weaker plot points...) but it still holds a special place in my heart

This whole drama was just MCs aurafarming and spitting blood but I'll recommend it for the 10/10 OST and visuals.

Was a bit disappointed with the amount of plot holes and the weak character building otherwise I would've rated this higher
