Completed - Sunday 16th August

Based on some true stories, the action, the performance from the cast, and the OST were absolutely excellent!

Intense topics were covered throughout the episodes, from bullying and drug use to the mental health of everyday people; it was awesome to see past characters get involved in the later episodes.

Netflix (Eng subs)

Completed - May 2nd 2026

Intriguing storyline, performance and chemistry.

Completed - May 24th 2026

It has a mixture of TUA and The Boys world-building!

The characters had fun chemistry, a lot of comedy mixed with the serious moments, wouldn't mind a season 2.

Re-Completed - October 8th 2026

Rewatched this again after maybe over 10 years! Time flies; I don't remember the starting scene with the parents' backstory. I'm guessing my family made me skip watching it, haha. Love the soundtrack (it's on my YouTube playlist) and definitely the raw fight scenes! Props to the cast for their dedication to their own stunts!

Completed - March 15th 2026

Action-packed with a great choice of casting.

Chopper's arc was well-performed!

Completed - May 30th 2026

Fun popcorn drama, funny concept with characters that compliment eachother as they are on screen.

Amazon Prime (Eng subs)

Completed - July 25th 2026

Interesting story concept and excellent performance from the cast members. Although it was on a small budget, it felt like a mainstream show. The ending conclusion seemed a bit rushed to conclude loose ends.

iQIYI

Completed - July 17th 2026

Time travel and reincarnation themes were explored from an intriguing angle. The earlier episodes seemed a bit slow, but the story started to get more interesting when the mystery gradually unravelled in the last 6 episodes.

iQIYI

Completed - October 4th 2026

Interesting concept and great cast! I did find the dubbing of the foreigners to be off at times, but you eventually get used to it. The story can be a bit predictable at times, especially the final episode. Overall, if you are interested in investigation and security-type drama, this one is a good watch!

Completed - May 5th 2026

Great episodic pacing, questionable ending, and some plot hole loose ends that haven't been explored.

Sweet and mostly light-hearted; it's nice to see more GL's that are not drama-centred or gloomy.

Great cast, some scenes felt dragged out and could have been shorter. Underrated show on a big platform.

Completed - February 28th 2026

Started strong, but took too long to reveal the culprit and twist. None of the student victims seemed redeemable to root for; the main focus and reason for watching through the end would be for the two main leads.

Completed - February 21st  2026

Dropped this show a year ago, and decided to pick it up again as there were good reviews and praise for the acting.

It was well performed and reminded me of how the character's life is not so far from some people's reality. A bit grim to watch, though, but it's worth it for the end!

Completed - July 11th 2026

The story concept had potential, especially for the first episode, but didn't feel much of a strong connection with many of the characters.

The last 15 minutes were moving, felt heavy, but made sense.

Completed - June 20th 2026

Chemistry was there; the story was so-so, would have been interesting to see the bond explored more in different settings.

iQIYI

Completed - August 6th 2026

Fun show through the episodes; I did find it a bit lengthy at times.

Took almost a week to complete.

Windbreaker meets BL

It's got action, angst and a bit of comedy. It's a nice popcorn film, could have been a series to explore more of the characters' story, and given the pair more time to build the bond. It did feel a bit rushed.

Completed - August 29th 2026

Nice, quick popcorn film.

Film in a nutshell: If they really wanted to, they would

Netflix Japan

Completed - May 14th 2026

Beautiful cinematography; it's too bad some of the scenes for the main pair were cut.

Netflix

Completed - June 14th 2026

Watched this show on Lingopie to study my Korean. Would be interested in seeing how the story concludes itself.

The cast did what they could with the material they got. I do wish the story could have been expanded. Chemistry was so-so.

Completed - May 15th 2026

Preferred the anime; the colour grading and appearance of the characters stayed faithful to the source material. The action and storyline hit differently in the anime.

Completed - April 3rd 2026

Too short to cover and go into depth of the story's complex plot. The anime obviously had more run-time to explore the main and side characters' arcs, so the film felt rushed.
