Remakes I’ve skim-watched
I get curious about remakes but usually not enough to actually watch them. However I will often skim-watch to see how certain things were adapted. Obviously I will not give ratings to shows on this list so don’t take it too seriously

Thai Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
This just felt odd. the Korean show was flawed but it had a charm that managed to shine through. This show does have a few decent ideas/divergences, but they feel overshadowed by the lower-quality production (the weirdly loud music and mostly unimpressive action) and really odd story choices (the corny attempts to make its versions of Ahn oh-ju and Cha moon-sook sympathetic, taking the “love rivalry” in the Korean show-- that was entirely played for comedy and had the 2 women involved in it quickly becoming friends--and trying to make it more serious in the most annoying way possible)

Honestly seems charming, there seems to be less of the constant possessive jealousy. But lol it really pulled out the “forgotten childhood friendship” trope
