Enemies to lovers kdramas (2020-2025)

Although K-dramas really lack perfect, intense enemies-to-lovers stories and are more on the rom-com side, some of these can fit perfectly into the enemies-to-lovers category. There is a hate-to-love dynamic or general dislike, so I hope this helps. These dramas are from 2020 to 2025, and I loved some of them.

  • My Demon

    1. My Demon

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

This might be the most perfect enemies-to-lovers K-drama I’ve come across. It has obsession, incredibly cute scenes, and yes, a true enemies-to-lovers dynamic. Song Kang is so unbothered here, and I love him for it. The female lead makes him work, but also puts in a lot of effort herself, lol. In classic K-dramas, whenever the girl proposes to a guy in front of everyone to marry him, they usually say yes to save face, but he blatantly says NO. At least for the first six episodes, he was very unbothered by her.

  • Destined with You

    2. Destined with You

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

God, this drama was actually hot. When Rowoon delivered the line, "So words are not enough," and was about to kiss her—aaagh, I screamed! This was a very good enemies-to-lovers story. He was so mean to her that I actually felt sad for the female lead. The female lead was a bit over-the-top sweet, but damn, I loved everything about this. Rowoon is just so mean that it actually works perfectly.

  • Crazy Love

    3. Crazy Love

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

Do not miss this drama! This is the perfect enemies-to-lovers story, and that goes on for at least the first 10 episodes. It’s so freaking funny, such a good comedy, and the main characters HATED each other so much. This is the drama—it’s a must-watch, and I will always recommend it.

  • Bon Appetit, Your Majesty

    4. Bon Appetit, Your Majesty

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

MASTERPIECE! This drama had everyone on a chokehold from Episode 1. It’s such a perfect drama. Please, if you think it’s a historical drama and hesitate to watch it, don’t let that stop you. The king was a tyrant—a literal tyrant. The girl barely survived having her head chopped off or her hands cut off. I know it sounds gory, but that’s how intense it was. The man was such a psychopath, but the drama was equally cute and so much fun. This is literally a must-watch, and the ending was something nobody ever expected. The man pined for her—literally would die for her.

  • The Judge from Hell

    5. The Judge from Hell

    Korean Drama - 2024, 14 episodes

Please, hands down, they are the enemies. What do you mean, she stabbed him? He tried to turn her in to the police and even handcuffed her on a Ferris wheel—yes, yes! The romance is a bit of a side plot, but it’s still there. This drama is so freaking good and gripping that you won’t want to miss a single episode. The visuals are amazing.

  • Celebrity

    6. Celebrity

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

Not enemies to lovers, but more of a rivalry, and again, romance is a side plot. But damn, it is incredibly intense. The romance here is top tier and mind blowing. The actual plot is so good, and the romance is the cherry on top. If you have not seen this, you are missing out. Nobody is as obsessed with the girl as the male lead is. The background music is also extremely catchy and intense. Must watch.

  • Nevertheless,

    7. Nevertheless,

    Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

The enemies to lovers dynamic is a little less pronounced, but the angst is definitely there, with a lot of push and pull. It is a toxic drama with a happy ending and intense chemistry.

  • Wedding Impossible

    8. Wedding Impossible

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

Very underrated, but it’s such a good enemies-to-lovers drama. The male lead is so ridiculously handsome, and he’s all set to sabotage the girl’s fake relationships with his brother, pulling schemes and even following her around. But despite all this, he fell for her and resisted his feelings for most of the drama. Nobody displayed obsessiveness like he did. This is as close to perfection as it gets, and it’s a must-watch for sure.

  • Secret Love

    9. Secret Love

    Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes

I know I’m cheating, right? I’m inserting a 2013 drama—I need to be so serious right now. Not even 2015, but a 2013 drama? Hell no. But whoever is in love with this trope, this drama is something you will regret missing. If you’re familiar with Thai dramas, you know they often have slap kisses or mishandling, but K-dramas are tamer. I don’t know what was in the air in 2013 that they made this drama, but IT IS LEGIT ENEMIES-TO-LOVERS. The girl suffered so much because of the guy she loved, but the male lead also made her life hell—until he started worrying about her. And God damn, he stalked her so much. He was obsessed—literally left everything for her, would do anything to protect her, and was so down bad that seeing her hurt would make him angry with rage. Once, when she had a sad face, he literally asked his secretary to find out all the interactions she had with everyone that week to figure out what was wrong. YES, that level of obsessed.

  • Sh**ting Stars

    10. Sh**ting Stars

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

Again, the perfect enemies! They hated each other. In Episode 1, you might think they are close or have a good relationship, but nope—they have been sworn enemies since university days. I love the dynamic so much, and God, the work the male lead did to finally get her to like him—it was so fun and heartwarming. This drama is so good, and both of them are so pretty!

  • The Story of Park's Marriage Contract

    11. The Story of Park's Marriage Contract

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

Very underrated—I love it. Proper enemies-to-lovers, the guy really just barely tolerated her and was not a good husband at first. You will definitely feel bad for the girl, but once the story kicks in, you will fall in love. I’m so glad I watched this drama. oh, it's a marriage of convenience drama

  • My Dearest

    12. My Dearest

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

OMG, please grab your tissues—nobody told me this underrated drama would make me cry so much. I truly never, ever cried this much while watching a drama. The romance is balanced with the war problems here, but the true, raw love that both leads have for each other is just incredible. The intensity of this drama is unlike any other. Please, on my recommendation, do not skip this just because it’s historical. This drama will make you cry so much. And yes, it has a happy ending—please, please watch it.

  • Queen of Tears

    13. Queen of Tears

    Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

Not one of my favorites, but generally considered loveable. It is more complicated and better suited for the "marriage in crisis" trope rather than enemies to lovers, or lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers. Definitely not lovey-dovey, so it can be considered in this category.

  • Business Proposal

    14. Business Proposal

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

Shin Hari and Kang Taemoo serve this K-drama romance world. They are just so good. They have a hate-to-love dynamic, and God, it was so hot. Most importantly, the second leads were literally so famous and much loved. They were perfect enemies-to-lovers, and their kiss was mind-blowing. You can’t skip this drama.

  • The First Night with the Duke

    15. The First Night with the Duke

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

A historical drama where the girl travels from the future. It’s not enemies-to-lovers, but rather a forced type of marriage with extreme obsession from the male lead. He was just so damn possessive. I would recommend this forever, just because of the level of obsessiveness and possessiveness from the main lead. He’s the villain from Vincenzo, hmm.

  • King the Land

    16. King the Land

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

I love this drama so much. It’s more of a dislike-to-lovers story. Skip Episode 1 because it’s boring, but the real story starts from Episode 3, and you will definitely be in awe for most of it. Kim Jun-ho and Yoona are such perfect visuals, and the drama is sickeningly sweet—you can’t hate it at all.

  • Alchemy of Souls

    17. Alchemy of Souls

    Korean Drama - 2022, 20 episodes

This was gripping and so good. They definitely had a hate-to-love relationship, even though the guy was mostly nice—Jung So-min was the meanest to him. Anyway, this is a must-watch.

  • When the Phone Rings

    18. When the Phone Rings

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

Hotness overloaded! This drama served as a Wattpad-style CEO x fake wife trope for at least 8 episodes, until he realized, “Forget being a fake husband—let me show my girl some love.” Baek Saeon had been in love since childhood, but this is definitely an enemies-to-lovers story, where he acts uncaring and cold.

  • Twinkling Watermelon

    19. Twinkling Watermelon

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

The best drama you could watch. It’s so sweet and light, but heavy on emotions—I definitely had a good cry. It’s more of a relationship-type drama, but damn, it was funny. It’s actually enemies-to-lovers, where they mostly just barely tolerated each other.

  • Once Upon a Small Town

    20. Once Upon a Small Town

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

Not really enemies-to-lovers—the guy found her a nuisance at first and gradually warmed up to her. Not a typical small-town romance with people interfering. It’s sauuuurrr cute, you will love this drama. It’s short, very sweet, and literally has the cutest scenes everrrrrr!

  • Love to Hate You

    21. Love to Hate You

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

Episode 1 is boring—definitely skip it a lot, because the real story starts from Episode 2. The guy hates women, and the female lead hates misogynists. They were just so delicious together—ugh, it’s so good!

  • Itaewon Class

    22. Itaewon Class

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

This drama is less focused on romance. It is more of a subplot, and the girl fell first and pined for the guy for years. At first, the male lead disliked her, but gradually started to like her, and toward the end, he was deeply in love and willing to sacrifice for her. If you are okay with romance being a side plot, then this one might be for you.

  • True Beauty

    23. True Beauty

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

This might be everyone’s first K-drama—dislike-to-love, a sweet, soft-core drama with heavy tension. It took Suho and Jukyung a long time to get together. Definitely my favorite.

  • Call It Love

    24. Call It Love

    Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

Not one of my favorites because I don’t really like slow burns or melodramas. It was more of a one-sided enemies-to-lovers story and a slow burn. The male lead is the villain from Trigger (so handsome, I know), and Lee Sung Kyung from Weightlifting Fairy is obviously very pretty, so you could give it a try, I guess.

  • Full House

    25. Full House

    Korean Drama - 2004, 16 episodes

    9.5

This is hands down one of the best rom-coms ever and didn’t feel old at all, even after watching 2025 dramas. The enemies-to-lovers was insanely funny, sweet, and felt very real. Rain’s character completely steals the show—childish, jealous, loud, shy, and adorably whipped, switching from baby voice to yelling in seconds. His chemistry with Song Hye-kyo was cute, chaotic, and heart-melting. Now I get why Full House was such a massive phenomenon.

  • Bitch X Rich Season 2

    26. Bitch X Rich Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    3.5

A short and average series. Season 1 is all about bullying, and Season 2 has a marriage of convenience that gradually goes from hate to love. There are still chances of a Season 3, so maybe watch it if you want some chemistry—but only Season 2 is worth it.
