I think is the most famous bl series of all time. Each ep had millions of views in yt. Bright and Win became instant celebrities. An INSANE popularity

I lied. This is the most famous bl series of all time. Do you even know how many reviews has this one? Is insane. This series literally SAVED a nugu kpop group, a single actor fed an entire company

COMPLETELY DESERVED THIS IS A MASTERPIECE AND I WILL NOT DEBATE ABOUT IT

Did I mention I was going to put even the ones I give 1 star?  I hate this series with all my heart but I have to admit is crazy famous. Is even more famous that love by chance I guess. All of the NC lovers bl watchers have this one as a god. If you like watching kissing scenes or the chemistry in general, you WATCHED the kisses of this series

While Semantic error is more famous, this is the pioneer in K-BL (false again, it's Long time no see, but in fact no one cares about that series). In 2020, a year when the BL boom was just beginning, WYEL launched and paved the way for a host of other series that were encouraged to be made. 

Do you know the most iconic thing about this series? Even though it's been five years since, it is still a role model

It's like yesterday when the eps  were in yt and you watched the 15 ep (i think) and in the comments were like "where are the rest??'" and the response "the series was cancelled due to the government" ?. Girl, 2016???  AND CHINESE????

Currently is a controversial series, but in that time, again, was a pioneer. They dared to do what no one had done and still to this day the chemistry here has not been surpassed by many  

Another one I HATE and i could VOMIT ON but in that time, where there  wasn't that many of bls made, not like now (long time ago, the only you could watch were like make it right, love sick, water boyy, sotus, addicted, this one... and that's it).  I never liked this series, but for some reason was a favorite among the fans and the audience

the JAPANESE one. I have to admit maybe I'm biased bc was the first japanese I watched ??? But I believe this is the most iconic japanese bl. is in everywhere. Everyone watched this, maybe bc takes 1  hour and half.  It's short, is simple, but it's real and its GOOD.

One thing I have to give  credit for is that they dared to do something different. I'm not saying it's the first to do something of this genre (Manner of Death was released a year earlier), but it was the first GMMTV series to really break away from the trope of dumbass high school or college engineers. It's a iconic bc it did something different and executed it well

If I have to put in top 3 the korean bl ones in iconic, would be: 1. Semantic Error. 2. WYEL. 3. This one

No college, no highschool. No. They are ADULTS?  I have to admit this is not the most incredible series ever made, and i like more other ones, but idk, is iconic, something in the air is iconic and could not be replaceable

But you know what? THEY DID IT, AND THEY DID IT LONGER. Wtf is "8 eps of 10 min "? GIVE ME SIXTEEN ONE HOUR EPISODES 

That is iconic. Only the length. The audacity. They believe in their proyect, they put love in it, and this is the result, the best love triangle in all bl series, may i say?

This series was created so you and me could knew  it is possible make a series with  deepness and realism.  This was created with so much love and passion. I recommend watch the BTS. 

You know why is iconic? Bc it shows that its possible make an insane chemestry without a single kiss or nude scene. Somthing that today, 2025, the companies should remember

I didnt even watched this one but oh my god the controversies,,,, THAT long trailer, all the videos, the theories, the expectations, all the waiting, so the cancelation, the trends, twitter,  the return of the project, the waiting, the popularity, THE RELEASE, THAT ONE ACTOR, THE CONTROVERSE, omg it was so much. EVERYONE was talking about KinnPorsche. If you wanted a good tea since 2022, they were like "did you know about KinnPorsche??" 

Hands down, I have to talk about cinema.

Yes. THE Off-Gun series. Do you even know WHO are Off-Gun in this industry? DO YOU??? Yes, they are the FATHERS. The most iconic and important pair of all time in BL INDUSTRY. No one was like them. Yes, Singto and Kriss were super popular, but no one were doing like Off and Gun. Even to this day they are the chiefs, the exponents, the kings,. Jesus, even to these days there are no clarity if they were a couple or not.

This was their first series. And a good series, by the way  ✋

I dont like nor remember this series, but they were hiper popular back in time. Same case with TharnType, the sEXyS scenes were disruptive for the time. People weren't used to that. At that time, couples were still fish-kissing (I'm looking to sotus). So it's iconic, because this series, along with others like Addicted, paved the way for all the other series today (like TharnType or Love in the Air) could run.

THE BEST JAPANESE SERIES OF ALL TIME. I have no time to discuss about it!

Maybe a little dead-fish-kiss would have been nice (lit i'm not asking too much), and its sad to think thay maybe they didn't do it given the actors' popularity, but overall it's a VERY good show. A very solid plot and endearing characters. No one could do like Cherry magic

I didn't watch this one BUT!! This series englobe all the HIStorys (which are like ten to this point c'mon). I think this is the most popular among the Historys series, (THAT final are talked to this day). I watched and liked HIStoy 2:crossing the line, but I don´t think is that iconic, so I put this one

COME TO SEE THE SECOND FATHERS OF THAI BL INDUSTRY. Yes, no one were doing like Off. Gun, but New and Talay were like the princes in this kingdom . Off-gun were introduced first in Puppy Honey (2016) and after New and Talay in Kiss me again (2018), they were THE couples. So, when Dark blue kiss came out a lil after TOF,  was like a BOMB. The princes of bl kingdom having their own series?

I think this series is iconic bc their story. It's so fresh. No university, no school, not even office co-workers, they are in a rural town with a depth story and character's motivations. It is iconic because of its uniqueness. They did something new

Again, didn't watch this one, but I know it's iconic. In an ocean of identical series that seem like a vile copy of each other, something new will ALWAYS be iconic. AND COME ONE, it's a ghost. And they're Singto and Ohm

another one I didn't watch, I'm sorry, BUTTT,  i put this one here bc their popularity. Like omg. If you want to talk about popular ones , Cutie Pie are in the list. Also, the actors are very famous too  until this day

I don't like this series that much tbh, but again, this is about ICONS. This is an icon. They are. That kiss was all around internet. "Top epic kissing scenes" they were there.  Iconic. I think is the most famous taiwanese bl  

Look, I was going to remove this series after seeing the number of reviews (even Long Time No See has more ;;;), but I'm going to keep it in its place, because this series did 2 important things: 1. It gave rise to another crop of new actors.  2. It reinvented the dumbass highschoolers  genre, bc it managed to make it fun and not repetitive. All of us who were fed up with this genre returned to it with affection

And so, they were innovated, bc GMMTV actually made potentials SINGERS sing their own songs, instead of putting ACTORS doing their best with auto-tune (yes, i'm looking to like almost all of protagonist of thai series, there are like 1 or 2 that dont sing their own ost omg jesus christ)

You know what it's iconic about this series? That their couple is so lame and imperfect. They are not the dumbass highscholeers, they are the weird  highschoolers. Yes yes, they are toxic. Of course they are. One is a deity and the other is a vile and ugly mortal. But, you know? That is the fun thing. They are so imperfect and weird (especially the protagonist) and WHAT? We all know that.  That's  the series. Them being weird.

That's so iconic.

What is iconic about this series is that this wouldn't have been as popular as it was if it hadn't been for its main actors. The plot was ok.  The directing was ok. The main actors did the rest. Especially Nanon (carried more of a half of the series), if may say so.

Yeah, has the colleges students trope, but with a interesting turning point, with reincarnation and soulmates. To MY taste, i'm not very sure that they achieve it, (I mean, the past is so tragic but the present is fun and dummy, puting aside fluke's crying scenes). However, this was the PEAK of plot in their era, so they have a BIG point

This series did what COLOR RUSH could NOT in their time. Make a interesting plot with fantasy  and make it solid and fun 

LFLS is very recent, but I think  it could be considerer (I hope so) a role moder in the future.  This series has everything and it's WELL DONE even in the short time it has.
